What customers say?

“ This place is a blast! I went on a Thursday and caught the end of one and then a full jazz set. The full set was incredible. They even had one of the best tap dancers I have ever seen, and two or three singers. My drinks were amazing. The food is fine. Maybe there are great things on the menu, I cannot say. I had pizza and I tried the salmon of a woman I was seated with so we could both get it. Both were fine, not bad but not particularly amazing. The music and the decor were fabulous though, and the staff was so nice and friendly. I had soooo much fun and would definitely go back. A very intimate and lively jazz experience, and also very youthful and energetic. Not the kind of place where everyone is silent and you can hear a pin drop. Those places are fine, too, but jazz is about freedom and expression, so it is nice for the vibe of the venue to match that as well. ”

“ Wow! Just went for my birthday with my fiancé and the atmosphere was incredible. We had an amazing server( everyone was lovely as well), the live music was so good! I will be back soon, on time! lol! ”

“ Finally had a Saturday evening free to check out Jazz nights at Lucille’s. It was a 10/10 experience. This place is perfect for a date night, solo night at the bar if you love live music or girls night out in which they do Ladies night Thursdays & Saturdays. ”

“ The purpose of this review is not to hate or harm this restaurant in any way, shape, or form. That being said, I hope you take this review as an informative review. Atmosphere: The place is pretty clean, spacious, and well lit. I saw people sitting on their own and others with friends. So, you can this place is not strictly quiet nor too noisy. Oh, I think they are also pet friendly because a girl with her huge dog went in. Service: The girl who helped me with my order was polite, friendly, and efficient. Food: I ordered the Smashed Avocado and the Acai Bowl. The flavors were okay, but the downside of it were the portions. I mean, I'd let it pass for the Smashed Avocado, but he Acai Bowl was ridiculously small. Price: Honestly, I feel like the flavors don't quite compensate their prices. Of course, this is my experience with my order. Perhaps other items from their menu meet the same level as their prices. ”

“ I can only speak highly of this coffee shop by-day, live music and cocktail bar-by-night. The ambiance is warm, inviting, and cozy. Very small, yet intimate. It feels like one of those places where you can become a regular pretty quickly. I went for the live music but the food truly didn’t disappoint. I was pleasantly surprised by the flavor of the spiced honey brussel sprouts, definitely my favorite dish there. Tasted similar to a buffalo-style brussel sprouts dish. The mozzarella sticks were good. They tasted fresh. I probably wouldn’t get them again, unless to share. But they were delicious. I regret not having enough room in my stomach to try the chicken sandwich. That and their pizza are apparently what people come for. I’m going to go back in a few weeks to try that. In terms of staff - those folks were SO accommodating, attentive, and kind. I told the host, Bryan/Brian, I was grateful he made space for me that night, because the place certainly was packed. Lucille’s is that girl. Great for a weekend outing, girls’ night, date night, just an overall great place to gather, enjoy good food, and be treated like a human. Loved it. Only con - parking. But it’s NY…so that’s to be expected. ”

“ What a great place. Came here tonight for dinner and a live set. Pizza was good, hot toddy was good enough to order a second one, and the sound system and musicians were phenomenal - I was sat, shut up & listening for every song. Couldn't believe this artist only has monthly listeners in the two digits, they sounded so good. Also couldn't believe there was no cover charge (I'm guessing/hoping they have high enough profit margins on the food and drinks). They played loud, discouraging most conversation, which was good for my experience tonight but may not be good for those just looking for vibey background noise. ”

“ 5 stars isn't enough to describe how amazing Lucille's is. From the host Isaiah to the amazing food/drinks, Lucille's will be the highlight of your NY trip. The jazz band was next level, excellent composition to accompany a great experience. And the atmosphere is so welcoming and warm, exactly what you should expect from a jazz cafe. This establishment is worth every single penny you spend, and I promise you it is. I will be returning because this just became a must-see-again for NY. ”

“ A great place to relax with friends over coffee, brunch or drinks. The ambience is chilled and I love the huge windows looking over the street. Iced coffee really hits the spot. I had the tomato soup with grilled cheese which was perfect to warm up on a wintery day. There's a great crowd here which has a local, hip vibe. Best for small groups of two to four. ”
